Snaefellsnes is described as a mini Iceland, with Fjords, Volcanoes, Glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, without the hours of travel you encounter on the south coast, Its the ultimate Iceland experience! with no tourist buses from Reykjavik, as with the south coast. Daylight hours are 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness during September, with a higher possibility of seeing the northern lights than the south coast.
